HMRC criticised in report over customer service…

The National Audit Office highlighted areas of improvement for HMRC, when dealing with customers over the phone. HMRC have been criticised over the length of time it takes to answer phone calls from the public.  It also stated that the calls cost too much and is another area which should potentially be reviewed.
